Faith Chapel has very rock solid beliefs and values which guide and inspire every aspect of our ministry.
We believe that understanding our beliefs and Statement of Faith is vital in understanding Faith Chapel’s mission and position in Kingdom building within the earth.
At Faith Chapel, our mission and vision is to Grow People Up Through God’s Word to Reflect Jesus.
The Word of God:
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that sin is the transgression of God’s law, as revealed by the Holy Spirit through His eternal Word. (1 John 3:4; Eph. 2:1-22; Romans 5:12; Romans 5:19; Romans 7:14-25)
The Trinity:
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:35)
We believe that Jesus died on the cross for mankind’s sins and was bodily resurrected so that whosoever will may be justified and declared righteous before God the Father.(Romans 5:12-21; I Corinthians 15:3-8; Philippians 2:5-11).
We believe that Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father and reigns as the Son of the Living God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Mark 16:19; 1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 19:16).
We believe that there is a blessed hope of the personal visible future return of Jesus to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought Church that it may be with Him forever. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelation 1:7).
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross includes healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. Divine healing is for all. (Psalm 103:2-3, Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:17-18, James 5:14-16; I Peter 2:24)
We believe that the blood and the name of Jesus set the captive free. (Mark 16:15-17; Acts 16:18; Philippians 2:9-11; Colossians 1:13-14; Revelation 12:11)
Salvation and Water Baptism:
We believe that the ordinance of baptism by immersion in water should be administered to all those who have repented of their sin and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:16; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38;)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin and declared right with God is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 3:19; Titus 3:4-7; Hebrews 10:12, 19-22)
We believe that the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper should be observed regularly as enjoined by the Scriptures. (Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is an experience subsequent to salvation that equips the believer for effective service and is given to believers who ask for it. (Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5; Acts 2:1-4, 38-39; Acts 8:14-17; Acts 10:38, 44-47; Acts 11:15-17; Acts 19:1-6)
Christian Lifestyle:
We believe that God desires the prosperity of His children. (Psalms 23:1; Psalms 35:27; Proverbs 10:22; Philippians 4:19)
We believe that worship is the believer’s greatest privilege and calling. (Psalm 95:6, Matthew 4:10; John 4:23; Romans 12:1-2)
We believe that personal witnessing is the believer’s responsibility. (Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:21; Acts 1:8)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer, provides the ability to live a holy life. (John 14:17,23; Romans 8:11-15; Ephesians 3:20; Colossians 1:27-29)
We believe that every true believer in Christ must not yield themselves to sinful passions and instead must strive to pursue righteousness, “so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Romans 6:5-11; II Timothy 2:22; Colossians 1:10).
We believe that the family unit is foundational to society, and that God has ordained marriage as its centerpiece. Further, we believe that God has defined marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in scripture, and that sexual intimacy should be enjoyed only within a biblical marriage. (Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 19:3-6; I Thess. 4:3-5).
We believe that both the saved and the lost will be resurrected: the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation. (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
